Copywriting: I can craft a well written, appealing, entertaining message that gets right to the heart of the feature, function and benefits of your product. I will do this in simple, creative and easy to understand language

Web Sites: Leveraging the 10+ years experience I have had in information design and visual design, I can craft (program) or re-craft your Web presence so that your site becomes an information resource and a sales tool — a place where potential and current customers go to find out about what you do and how to do business with you.

My Web experience ranges from large, multimillion dollar e-commerce companies to small businesses, from for-profit companies to non-profit organizations.

I build sites using open source content management systems that are designed to allow content to be changed, moved and updated by those who have the product knowledge — not by those who run the back end infrastructure.

Technical Writing: If you are writing user guides or user manuals, for either internal or external use, I will gather, organize and write procedures to ensure that your products are used in the way that they were designed to be used. I do this in simple, easy to understand language with simple, easy to understand examples.

Traffic: I will work with your existing web site to make sure that it is written in a way that search engines are friendly and are willing to index your articles, ideas and keywords so they can be found by your customers. I can put together a key-word strategy for effective organic or paid search.

Buzz and Public Relations: Press Releases are so 1990. Today’s world of marketing requires the understanding and use of the web, the use of social marketing like Twitter and Facebook, public appearances and event marketing. I will help you put together a coordinated message and image as well as generating speaking opportunities that reach your potential customers.

Collateral Design and Publication: If you require print to help communicate you message, I will design and produce a coordinated set of material that works with your sales channel to generate interest and leads. I can design and produce material for both direct mail or for use at trade shows or on face-to-face sales calls.

Product and Project Management: Using marketing research and competitive analysis and project management skills, I can craft a set of product specifications and manage the development, testing and roll-out of a product or service.

Web Analytics: With web analytic tools, I’ll help you make sense of who is looking at your site and how they are behaving once they get there. This information, (although mildly entertaining) is really useful only if you understand how to apply it to improve your customer’s experience by changing your site to react to your customer’s habits.
